We are so thankful that Candace and Reynaldo have taken Luke in. He has enjoyed living with them and helping Elizabeth as well as playing with his friend James. Luke also enjoys facetime with Mom and Grandma at the same time. Though he likes to see his Dad daily as well.
Our coordinator has been on vacation this week. We had the pleasure of meeting these two lovely ladies this week. The first is Dr. Kirsten Ebbert who is currently from the CF Kids Clinic in Calgary. We had fun talking about our journey with her. The second is Jessica and she loved my organization (spreadsheet that tracks his pills, pulmonary function, and daily tracking sheet) and couldn’t believe what I had done.
Today was yet another covid test. Many more procedures next week to check that everything is good to go.
We really enjoyed our clinic yesterday. Learned that my bones are healing nicely after surgery and my FEV is at 140%. Got to see the respirologist Doctor Justin Weinkauf again since I did not remember seeing him in ICU cause I was so drugged up. Nice to hear he thinks I am doing great and will be released on October 9th yeah.
Good friend and cousin came all the way from Prince Albert for the weekend. So nice to see him reminds me how great a group of friends and family we have.
Devon Hack was really missing his D&D game play. Last night was extra special; gaming and wearing his Chewbacca robe.
Our friends Candace and Reynaldo brought Luke up to visit us. A great visit. It was so nice to see him again. We had fun, going to Ikea, shopping, and the zoo.
Great visit. Devon’s Mom brought us bran muffins and chili. My favorite bean and bacon soup that somehow my wife can never find.
We had a great time stuffed in the condo hanging out. The boys drinking. All of us eating. The girls may have gone for some Ikea shopping.
